Rotary International is currently accepting applications from young professionals 25 to 40 years old to spend a month in Bangladesh as part of a business and cultural exchange program.

Rotary will choose four or five people from among applicants in Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Kern counties for its Group Study Exchange program. Those selected will travel to Bangladesh from Jan. 11 to Feb. 8, 2010. All expenses except for vaccinations and health insurance will be covered.

The program is geared toward professional development, with the participants meeting with people from Bangladesh who work in their industries.

The application deadline is Aug. 5. Members of Rotary and their relatives are not eligible. For more information, contact Elizabeth Werhane at lizwerhane@yahoo.com, or 690-2944.
